An interesting case of urinary incontinence and long-standing? ureteric JJ stent

Abstract

Although, number of new indications for the use of ureteric JJ stent are increasing in urology practice, adverse events and complications are also encountered. Encrustation, infection, upward and downward migration, hydronephrosis, fragmantation, and urinary incontinence are the main complications of long-stay JJ stent. Therefore, careful follow-up is needed for patients with stent. I here present an interesting case of urinary incontinence associated with many above-mentioned complications of long-standing? JJ stent.
